STRELITZIA REGINAE




The Strelitzia Reginae is a plant of tropical origin. very versatile, it is used both as a cut flower and in a pot.
Its grayish green leaves have long stems that grow unevenly, and usually do not exceed one and a half meters. Its flowers are held in its floral stem because of its natural beauty and bright colours. It is very resistant to wind, so it can occupy an unprotected place in the garden.

The best climate is tropical and subtropical, but it also grows well in Mediterranean climates. Temperatures below 10ÂșC can be withstood but hinder flowering.
