Outdoors it needs to be under full sun.

Under 5ºC leaves start to fall.

After cold season, it starts to flower again.

IRRIGATION

During the summer and in a pot, water the plant 2 or 3 times per week. During the winter, water it just when the pot is dry.

Grown on land, water it once a week or less. During the winter nothing, the rain is enough.

It is important to have a good sewer system.

FLOWERING

It flowers mostly in spring, even if it blooms the whole year. The strongest flowering is from June till September.

If the plant is in a pot: put fertilizer in the irrigation water every 15 days in spring and summer. During Autumn stop fertilizing and reduce the watering.

If the plant is grown on land: use just a little bit of fertilizer or nothing.

If the leaf turns yellow, add a little bit of iron sulphate.

PRUNING

In warm climates prune it in winter and in the early spring if the weather is cooler.
