DAYLIGHT
|
Indoors needs full light, otherwise leaves will be
lost and will not flower.
Outdoors it needs to be under full sun.

TEMPERATURE
|
Depending on the variety it can hold up to -7ºC.
Under 5ºC leaves start to fall.
After cold season, it starts to flower again.

IRRIGATION
|
During the summer and in a pot, water the plant 2 or
3 times per week. During the winter, water it just when the pot is dry.
Grown on land, water it once a week or less. During
the winter nothing, the rain is enough.
It is important to have a good sewer system.

GROUND
|
Rich, with good sewer system and loose soil.

FLOWERING
|
It flowers mostly in spring, even if it blooms the
whole year. The strongest flowering is from June till September.

FERTILIZED
|
If the plant is in a pot: put fertilizer in the irrigation water every
15 days in spring and summer. During Autumn stop fertilizing and reduce the
watering.
If the plant is grown on land: use just a little bit of fertilizer or
nothing.
If the leaf turns yellow, add a little bit of iron sulphate.

PRUNING

In warm climates prune it in winter and in the early
spring if the weather is cooler.
