CALAMONDIN
This variety of citrus is known as miniature
orange. It is native form Asia and is used as bonsai in Mediterranean
gardens.
In warm climates they can be placed outdoors
and balconies, but in cold areas it is better to have them as indoor plants.
Since its fruit is a tiny orange, it is used
both ornamentally and consumer. The Calamondin is used in cooking because of
its qualities as citrus and its high content of vitamin C.
